Terms and conditions.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY AND IN FULL. THEY CONTAIN CERTAIN CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS ON THE AVAILABILITY AND USE OF THE PREMIUM WITH HULU OFFER, INCLUDING SPOTIFY'S ABILITY TO SUSPEND OR TERMINATE THIS OFFER AT ANY TIME.

1. The Premium with Hulu Offer. This Premium with Hulu offer (the "Premium with Hulu Offer") is made to you by Spotify (as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use, "Spotify Terms of Use") and allows you, subject to these terms and conditions (the "Premium with Hulu Offer Terms"), to access Spotify Premium, a form of Paid Subscription (as defined in the Spotify Terms of Use) and Hulu (Hulu's ad supported plan) (the "Hulu Plan").

You agree to pay the then-current price of the Premium with Hulu Offer to receive access to both Spotify Premium and the Hulu Plan. By submitting your payment details, you (i) accept this Premium with Hulu Offer; and (ii) acknowledge and agree to the Spotify Terms of Use, Hulu Terms of Use and Hulu Privacy Policy and these Premium with Hulu Offer Terms. Any information that we may collect and process under this Premium with Hulu Offer will be done in accordance with the Spotify Privacy Policy.

2. Availability of the Premium with Hulu Offer.

This Premium with Hulu Offer is valid while supplies last. The Premium with Hulu Offer shall cease automatically at, and no longer be available after, the end of the Campaign Period, where "Campaign Period" means the period starting on the date this offer is first made available and ending on the earliest of:

(a) the maximum available number of Premium with Hulu Offers being redeemed;

(b) the advertised expiry date of the Premium with Hulu Offer; or

(c) this Premium with Hulu Offer being earlier terminated by Spotify.

Spotify makes available this Premium with Hulu Offer at its sole discretion. Except where prohibited by applicable law, Spotify reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue this Premium with Hulu Offer, either temporarily or permanently (or any part thereof), with or without notice. Neither Spotify nor Hulu nor any of their affiliates will be liable to you or any other person in the event of any modification, suspension or discontinuance of this Premium with Hulu Offer.

If Spotify ceases to make available this Premium with Hulu Offer, you will lose access to the Hulu Plan at the end of the then-current billing month, however you will remain a paying Spotify Premium user, and will be charged (through the same payment method as you chose for this Premium with Hulu Offer) the then-current monthly price of Spotify Premium until and unless you cancel.

3. Eligibility.

a. Spotify Eligibility Requirements. In order to receive this Premium with Hulu Offer users must: (1) have, or register for, a valid Spotify Premium account; (2) have a valid and current payment method accepted by Spotify; and (3) pay for your Spotify subscription directly to Spotify and not through a third party (e.g., not through a cable or telecommunications provider). Only one Premium with Hulu Offer may be applied to each Spotify Premium account. If you are an existing subscriber to a different Spotify Premium subscription plan or offer, the following will apply:

  • Subscribers to the Family Plan or the Premium for Students Tier: subscribers to either the Spotify Premium for Family Plan or the Spotify Premium for Students Tier are not eligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer.

  • Subscribers to a Spotify Premium free trial: If you are on a free trial offer with a remaining trial period of 30 days or less, you are eligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer and can receive access to the Hulu Plan during the remaining then-current free trial period. After the free trial period has expired, such users shall automatically subscribe to this Premium with Hulu Offer and shall pay the then-current monthly price until they cancel. However, if you are on a free trial with more than 30 days remaining on your free trial, you are not eligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer. You may switch to this Premium with Hulu Offer but you will forfeit the entirety of any remaining free trial period upon making such a switch; and

  • Subscribers to a Spotify Premium paid trial: Subscribers to any paid trial of Spotify Premium are eligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer and *after the then-current paid trial period has expired, such users shall automatically subscribe to this Premium with Hulu Offer and shall pay the then-current monthly price until they cancel.

b. Hulu Eligibility Requirements. In order to redeem this Premium with Hulu Offer and access the Hulu Plan, you must be a new or existing Hulu subscriber. If you use an existing Hulu account, you are ineligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer if your current subscription is: (i) for either the Hulu (No Ads) or Hulu + Live TV plans; (ii) for any Hulu subscription plan with a premium network add-on (e.g., HBO or Showtime); or (iii) billed through a third-party (e.g. Roku).

4. Activating access to the Hulu Plan. To activate your access to Hulu as part of this Premium with Hulu Offer, you must affirmatively take certain steps - this activation will not occur automatically.

  • For new Hulu users: activation requires creating a Hulu account as part of the sign-up process.

  • For eligible existing Hulu users: activation requires switching your existing Hulu account from being billed by Hulu to a billing method specified by Spotify. If you switch your billing to Spotify, you will not receive a prorated credit or refund from Hulu for the then-current billing month and you will forfeit any remaining credit balances with Hulu associated with your existing Hulu account.

If you are ineligible for this Premium with Hulu Offer as set forth in Section 3(b) of these Premium with Hulu Offer Terms, or if you do not switch billing to Spotify then you will be charged for both your existing Hulu and Spotify Premium with Hulu Offer subscriptions for as long as you keep both.

Some US States and Territories may require that access to the Hulu Plan is taxed in a different way to Spotify Premium. In such cases we will charge you, on a monthly subscription basis, the applicable taxes in respect of your ability to access the Hulu Plan as follows:

  • in the case of new subscribers to this Premium with Hulu Offer, from the moment you complete the process of subscribing to the Premium with Hulu Offer; or

  • in the case of existing subscribers to Spotify Premium, from the moment you commence the process of activating access to the Hulu Plan from the "Your Services" page in your Spotify account settings.

In each case, all applicable taxes will be charged regardless of whether you make use of your access to the Hulu Plan.

5. Deactivating access to the Hulu Plan. You may deactivate your access to the Hulu Plan by accessing Your Services and following the steps outlined. Deactivating your access to the Hulu Plan will result in the following:

Deactivating during the Campaign Period

  • Your subscription status will remain unchanged and your account will continue to be tied to this Premium with Hulu Offer. You will not be able to access the Hulu Plan via your Premium with Hulu Offer subscription whilst it is in a deactivated state but your access to Spotify Premium shall remain unaffected. You will continue to be charged the then-current monthly price of this Premium With Hulu Offer plus tax, regardless of whether your access to the Hulu Plan has been deactivated or not.

  • You may resume your access to the Hulu Plan during the Campaign Period by following the steps set out in Your Services. If your access to the Hulu Plan remains in a deactivated state after the Campaign Period, Spotify reserves the right, at its discretion and with or without notice to you, to change your account to a standalone subscription for Spotify Premium only, at which point you will:

  • lose the ability to resume your access to the Hulu Plan; and

  • be charged the then-current monthly price of a standalone subscription to Spotify Premium, plus applicable taxes.

Deactivating after the Campaign Period:

  • your account will automatically change to a standalone subscription for Spotify Premium only and you will be charged the then-current monthly price of a standalone subscription to Spotify Premium, plus applicable taxes. Your access to the Hulu Plan via your Spotify Premium subscription will end and you will not be able to resume such access.

If you wish to cancel your subscription to this Premium with Hulu Offer, you must follow the steps outlined in section 8 of these Premium with Hulu Offer terms.

6. Your Use of Hulu. The Hulu account linked to this Premium with Hulu Offer and your use of Hulu's services will be subject to Hulu's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. As a subscriber to this Premium with Hulu Offer, you cannot access the Hulu Live TV or Hulu (No Ads) plans and you cannot add any premium network add-on to your Premium with Hulu Offer. Your Hulu account may be deemed inactive based on Hulu usage. In the event that your account is deemed inactive, you can visit help.hulu.com for details on how to resume access to Hulu.

7. Access. Access to the Hulu Plan under this Premium with Hulu Offer begins immediately upon successful completion of the necessary sign-up and activation steps on the Spotify Service and the Hulu service as described above. We will make available the Premium with Hulu Offer to eligible users on a monthly subscription basis until such a time as we may choose at our discretion. You will only have access to the Hulu Plan for as long as you are subscribed to this Premium with Hulu Offer.

8. Cancellation. All billing and cancellation issues with respect to this Premium with Hulu Offer are between you and Spotify, not with Hulu. If you no longer wish to continue with your subscription to this Premium with Hulu Offer, you may at any time:

  • cancel this Premium with Hulu Offer at which point you will lose all access to both the Hulu Plan and Spotify Premium, and your Spotify account will switch to a Spotify Free account at the end of the then current billing cycle; or

  • delete your Spotify account.

To take any of these actions, log into your Spotify account and follow the prompts on the Account page or click here and follow the instructions.

9. Privacy. In addition to the permissions you grant us in relation to your personal information under the Spotify Terms of Use, you also acknowledge and agree that Spotify will provide certain Spotify account information to Hulu, such as your email address and date of birth. This is for the purpose of activating and administering this Premium with Hulu Offer and enabling Hulu to provide you with the Hulu Plan. Any Spotify account information received by Hulu will be subject to Hulu's Privacy Policy. Spotify and Hulu may, from time to time, make certain Hulu content available on the Spotify Service.

10. Exclusions. In addition to all other limitations and exclusions in these Premium with Hulu Offer Terms, Spotify and Hulu gift cards, gift subscriptions and prepaid cards cannot be used as a valid payment method for this Premium with Hulu Offer. No other discounts can be applied. There are no refunds or credits for partial monthly subscriptions. The Spotify Service and Hulu service may not be available on certain devices.

11. Payment. The credit card you provide when signing up for the Premium with Hulu Offer or that you used when you signed up for your Spotify Premium account will automatically be charged the then-current price of this Premium with Hulu Offer each month, until you cancel. If Spotify increases the monthly fee for the Premium with Hulu Offer in the future, we will provide you notice and an opportunity to cancel. If not cancelled, price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the date of the price change. You can cancel your subscription to this Premium with Hulu Offer at any time prior to the commencement of the new billing cycle. By not canceling after the price change takes effect, you agree to be charged the new price.

12. Additional Services. We may from time to time make additional third-party services (each an "Additional Service") available to eligible subscribers to this Premium with Hulu Offer on a monthly subscription basis. In order to access such Additional Services, you may be required to take certain steps, including consent to further terms.
